Join the Program
Teachers:
Bring an engineer or technical professional into your classroom with a virtual visit. Register to participate in the program and then search for an engineer that meets your needs.
- Begin by registering and receive a confirmation email. You will need to register for an IEEE TryEngineering account. Once we have that information, you use that to login to the Global Classroom Visits platform.
- Search for an engineer to “visit” your classroom.
- Communicate with the engineer (within the platform) to determine the format and goal of the visit and book a day and time.
- Once topic specifics, day and time are solidified, the teacher will send the engineer a link for the visit.
- You coordinate and facilitate the engineer's “visit” and provide feedback.
- Provide students with the follow-up ebook to further engage and inspire them about all things STEM.
