I am a Computer Science teacher and an Assistant Professor at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. My work primarily focuses on teaching, research, and science outreach in the fields of computer programming, software engineering, and technology-enhanced learning. I teach several courses covering fundamental and advanced programming concepts, including Introduction to Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures, and Programming Languages and Paradigms.
Through various STEM outreach programs, I have conducted numerous hands-on workshops using LEGO and Codey Rocky robots, Arduino, VIDI-X, or coding in Scratch, JS and Python. I have also worked with other educational tools such as LittleBits, Code & Go Mouse, led and developed unplugged programming and AI workshops, making complex concepts accessible to learners of all ages - from children in kindergartens and school students to senior citizens.
