Gayathri is a senior research in child-robot interaction at AMMACHI Labs, a computer human interaction research center of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. Her research focuses on fostering positive handwashing behaviour change among primary school children in rural India and she has presented her research in several prestigious international conferences and journals. She has also actively promoted STEM and computing education in schools and published papers in IEEE FiE, IEEE EDUCON, and ACM IDC conferences. She is now conductring research studies on neuroscience of Motor Skill Development to help rural women improve their hand dexterity skills through multimodal cognitive training.
